Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Peak AI collects when you visit peak-ai.ai or get in touch, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to you.

1. Overview

Peak AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at peak-ai.ai (the “Site”). This policy applies to personal data we process through the Site and through direct enquiries. It does not cover the separate, contracted services we deliver to clients, which are governed by the agreements signed for those engagements.

The data controller is PEAK AI CONSULTING SRL, registered under company number 54056035, with its registered office at Drum Lunca Sateasca 25-29, Et. P, Ap. 3, Sector 3, 032352 București, Romania. For any privacy question, contact us through the form at https://www.peak-ai.ai/contact.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need, in two ways:

  • Information you give us: when you submit the contact form or email us: your name, work email, company, and the contents of your message. If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects the details needed to arrange it.
  • Information collected automatically: basic, aggregated technical data such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate region, browser and device type, and anonymous performance metrics. This helps us keep the Site fast, secure, and working across devices.

We do not collect special categories of data, and we do not ask for payment information through the Site.

3. Analytics & cookies

We favour privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement over invasive tracking. The Site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and visits and Vercel Speed Insights to measure real-world page performance. Both report anonymised, aggregated metrics, set no tracking cookies, and do not build advertising profiles of you or follow you across other sites.

With your consent, we also enable Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity (a product-analytics tool that captures aggregated, de-identified usage such as heatmaps and session replays) to understand how visitors reach and use the Site and to measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run. These may set cookies and share data with Google and Microsoft. Nothing from these tools loads or sets a cookie until you accept our consent banner: we use Google Consent Mode to keep the Google tools' storage switched off by default, and we do not load Microsoft Clarity at all unless you accept. If you decline, all of them stay disabled.

The Site sets only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function, plus any analytics or advertising cookies you consent to. You can decline, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing the Site's saved preference and cookies in your browser, or by controlling cookies through your browser settings.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange introductory calls;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used so we can make it better;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We never sell your personal data, and we do not use your enquiry to send unrelated marketing without your consent.

6. Sharing & service providers

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run the Site, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. These include:

  • Hosting, analytics, and performance: Vercel, which hosts the Site and provides cookieless analytics and performance metrics.
  • Measurement and advertising: Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), used only with your consent to measure Site usage and advertising performance; this may involve transfers outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
  • Product analytics: Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft), used only with your consent to capture aggregated, de-identified usage such as heatmaps and session replays so we can improve the Site; this may involve transfers outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards.
  • Scheduling: Cal.com, if you choose to book a call.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a corporate transaction. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

7. Data retention

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence, typically up to 24 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Aggregated analytics data is retained in anonymised form.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us through the form at https://www.peak-ai.ai/contact.

If you are in the EU/EEA and believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Romania, this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers, to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
